Hello!

In our cozy space here, you can find sneak-peeks into the ongoing work of our open collaborative platform called archive* of tenderness. The archive* is an exploration into stories, practices, memories and questions of tenderness. Through an interdisciplinary approach, combining text, video, performance, drawing and more, we want to find out what it means to engage with each other in a tender and caring way. The archive* asks, if a tender relation to the world can be a mode of resistance and open possibilities for transformation of social structures and ingrained habits.

Our archive* has a little star attached to it “*”, because different to what the word „archive“ often describes, we are not aiming at creating an exhaustive list or strict categorization of everything tender. We do not want to build a stable structure, but enjoy working in fluid constellations.

So far we have worked in and on two constellations landscapes, skins, fabrics and soft earth, unburned. You will find exhibits from both in our space.

Tom Luca Adams, Anno Bolender, Sarah Degenhardt, Balduin Mund, Momo Neko, Lukas Picard, Pia Louise Jahn, Judith Wolff and Ira Wichert, have participated in the archives* projects until now, and hopefully many more co-researches will join us in the future.
