On the same evening, the FFT Düsseldorf invites you to a round table with Angélique Tracik (Head of the Cultural Office Düsseldorf) under the title: How does culture get through the winter?

We as FREIRAUM feel obliged as part of the free art scene to take part in this important meeting and don’t want any of you to have to decide for one event or the other.

So we will start at 5 pm in the FREIRAUM with our “Art-Tinder” salon, eat together as usual at 6 pm (vegan & fresh) and at 7 pm, freshly strengthened, we will go together to the FFT to take part in the discussion there:

The Council of the Arts invites all Düsseldorf artists, cultural workers and people interested in culture to a discussion with Angelique Tracik and other representatives from politics and administration. Will there be cuts for the independent scene? What does the draft budget say in detail? How is the revision of the funding structures progressing, which should guarantee sustainable support for culture? What concepts are there to cushion the coming increases in energy costs? These and certainly many other questions need to be discussed (…).

We would be happy if as many of you as possible would join us at the FFT and highly recommend participating in the round table (but of course it is not a must)!
