The monthly FREIRAUM Salons serve the open exchange and interdisciplinary networking of the local and national scene. Experts from a wide range of genres meet in an informal setting at the Düsseldorf premises. If analog contacts are difficult due to the pandemic, the salons are offered digitally. The content of the Salons changes between specific topics or questions or rather open get-togethers networking formats. The current artistic research and activities of the company, but also of the FREIRAUM community, can be reflected in the content of the salons. A new space of discourse opens up between peer reviews, small presentations, networking events of the scene or invited expert talks.
Once more, with holiday feeling: We bid farewell to 2025 with another shared Ecstatic Dance session with Ben J. Riepe and the sounds of [Seda]ction. Under the motto “leaving the year behind”, we invite you once more to recharge your energy for the final stretch of the year: Leave everyday life outside for a moment and flood your body with plenty of feel-good hormones! After a short breathing practice, we will dance freely to ecstatic sounds and gradually intensifying beats, immersed in shifting light and fog atmospheres – in a drug-free safe space, without expectations and in a relaxed atmosphere.
The session is open to everyone and suitable for all ages. No dance experience is required: everyone moves in their own way, according to their body and personal comfort.
Please wear comfortable clothing and remember to bring some water. Afterwards, we invite you to enjoy a drink and a small soul food snack with us.

(for pupils, students, retirees, people with disabilities, and anyone for whom the full fee of €10 is currently not feasible)
